*Following payment of race fees (and following race number issuance), fees are in principle non-refundable. Additionally, if the tournament organizer determines that the tournament cannot be held safely, it may be canceled. However, in this case, competitor participation rights will be extended to the following year’s race (not transferable to other competitors).

1. Premium Entry: Participants who make a donation of \100,000 (inclusive of race fees for A-Type and B-Type) will be granted automatic race participation (limited to first 10 donating participants).
2. Furusato Nozei Entry: Participants who have donated specified Furusato Nozei (Hometown Tax) payments will be granted automatic race participation after a lottery.

1. Like last year, the competition will feature A-Type (Long) and B-Type (Semi-long) courses. *Multiple applications for both courses will not be accepted. ** The swim start for this event will be conducted as a wave start. Also, the A-Type run will be shortened 5km to a total of 35km.
2. In the event a ‘Special Heat Stroke Alert’ is issued the day before the event, the competition will be cancelled.
3. Documents to be submitted (profile, health status, emergency contact information) should be uploaded through the competition website. *Qualification notifications and application forms will not be sent by post. Please check the website. (Documents may still be submitted by post, but forms must be downloaded from the website). **Please be aware that information posted last year such as event outlines, programs and course maps will not be posted but instead handed out at the opening ceremony. Please find event outlines (YouTube) and maps on the website.
4. The parking lot for competitors will be located in Hinogawa Athletic Park.
5. The use of a wetsuit will be optional in the swim leg of the race if the water temperature is above 22℃ on the day of the competition.
6. Please understand that the race course preview (offered the day before the race) can only be offered for a section of the course. (Reservations necessary and capacity is limited.)
7. Athletes are responsible for their own safety, and should service their own bicycles. A bicycle service corner operated by a cycle company will be set up on the opening ceremony day (user charges apply)
8. In accordance with Japanese traffic laws, bicycles are required to have a bell installed.
9. As we will not be controlling traffic during the race, you are required to abide by traffic rules whilst on public roads.
10. Natural disasters or other significant issues may force changes to the race course and conditions.
11. For safety reasons, there may be changes to the race course depending on road and traffic conditions.
12. The minimum eligibility requirements for this event will not only include participants’ athleticism and ability to complete the race, but appropriate conduct as a triathlete and a member of society will also be judged.
13. Even following confirmation of race registration, race organizers may remove a competitor from the race for any conduct deemed to have violated reasonable public decency, or if in the organizer’s judgement the competitor is not eligible to participate in the race.
14. Bike storage service will be available from the day of the race until the following morning.
15. A ‘Spectators Bus Tour’ is planned for this year’s competition.

4. Special Award (TOWARISE Award): Awarded to the highest scoring competitor in the A-Type category.
5. Best Athlete Award: Awarded to the oldest male or female competitor to complete the race in the A-Type category.

   The most outstanding club will be determined by calculating the race times of top 3 members (individuals) from each club.
